How it started
It all began with my mum
When my mum retired, she suddenly had a long list of things to sort out: new accounts to set up, passwords to remember, emails, apps, and a phone that seemed to want something new every week.
I helped her work through it all, one step at a time, at her pace and in plain English. Seeing how much more confident she felt afterwards, and how many of her friends had the same worries, made me realise how many people are in the same boat.
Technology isn't going anywhere, but nobody should feel stuck or left behind by it.
